6 STEPS TO START UI DESIGN AS A BEGINNER
Welcome readers to our post, here you will get 6 Steps to start UI design as a beginner.
Let's start it but before starting if you do not follow our social media accounts yet, follow it now - @ui_ux_worldwide
The followings steps are
1. Master A Design Tool
Not sure how to start your UI design journey?
Start by accessing one of these simple tools. Adobe XD and Figma is both free tools and have similar interfaces.
So, if you learn either one of them, you are good to go!
2. Practice Everyday
Now that you have got an idea of these tools, start by practicing UI designing every day.
A good place to start is the 100 Days Of UI Challenge!
They have amazing cues for UI design and by the end of it, you will surely have an amazing portfolio.
3. Find A Community
How to get started without any inspiration?
Luckily, you don't have to! There are thousands of UI designers you can get in touch with on any platform, be it Instagram, Twitter, Medium or Dribble, Behance, etc. Just draw inspiration from these amazing people and slowly you will transition into your new ideas.
4. Get Feedback
The next step is to put your work out for everyone to see. Surely, in the beginning, your work might not get much attention, but you will find a few people who are constantly appreciating your work. So don't hesitate to ask for feedback and work on that.
How do you show clients the process behind your work? You do that through Case Studies. Show the process behind your design by writing a complete case study.
Don't hesitate to create prompts and user stories yourself, just build some personal projects for your portfolio. Literally, everyone does that!
Now that you have these designs and a few case studies, put them out in the world for clients to see.
Don't build your portfolio on sites like Dribble as there is limited option to showcase studies and design processes. Instead, use a website to build your online portfolio.
Now it's time to share your portfolio everywhere and get gigs for UI designs.
Keep learning and exploring!
