How charging too little is harming the design industry?
A designer trying to make a living from her freelance business told me she couldn't charge more than $75 for a logo.
When I asked her how long it took her, she said 2 weeks.
I had her calculate her expenses to see how much she needed to make per month just to get by and she was shocked.
Sites like Fiverr have given the sense that design should be cheap and that it is worth very little.
There is pricing by packages and there is pricing by the client (value-based). In either case, know your baseline income.
